Blog-ginity

My first blog, which I've so appropriately named my Blog-ginity blog. I've never considered myself the "blogging type" or that I would ever need to have one (facebook and twitter are enough right?) , but after this weekend I can definitely see myself doing this blogging thing.

Speaking of this weekend....it was such a blast! I met a lot of great folks, learned so many new things...I dont even know where to begin! I drove down to Nashville Friday night and stayed with my sister/soulmate/cousin, so that I could be all fresh and ready to roll Saturday morning for the ABC meeting. Friday night we got cute had some dinner and just hung out- we definitely had some much needed girl's only time!

Saturday morning I get to the Gaylord Opryland hotel where the meeting was held and parked at least 54645 miles away from where the actual meeting was held. So here I am in 4 in. heels trekking across the botanical gardens trying to not sweat, not look like my pinky toe is about to fall off, be on time and be cute. Fun FUN!!!

When I FINALLY get to the room where the meeting was being held (and I was even early!), I was greeted by some of the friendliest people ever (come to find out one of the girls is not only from the same city as I am but attended the same High School I went to! Small world!), and we were given these cute little guitar name badges.

Once the presentations began I was eager to see what our speakers had to say. I was a little concerned that they would be a little boring (don't act like you wouldnt either!), but they were all really informative!! I learned so much about how to market myself, and just be an all around better wedding planner. I met some really sweet people there that I hope to meet again.

At the end of the day we were given these awesome swag bags, that had some super fantasic goodies inside! Cupcakes, candles, chocolate, and my new favorite thing- lollicakes!

That was a pretty good blog if I do say so myself.
